Baroness Floella Benjamin presents Peter Wilson with his BKSTS Fellowship certificate
The event was attended by leading industry personalities and the Guest of Honour was Baroness Floella Benjamin OBE DL, who presented the awards on behalf of the Society. Baroness Floella was herself the recipient of an Honorary Fellowship. Throughout an illustrious career, she has displayed many of the media skills represented by the Society, in the film and television industries as a producer, researcher, director and writer. She is also an actress, a singer and a presenter. She is now a dynamic politician in the House of Lords.
HDDC's Peter Wilson was inducted as a Fellow of the Society "for his tireless effort to ensure that the UK film industry technical requirements are represented internationally and particularly for his work at the EDCF".
